Top Photo Moments That Made Me Fall In Love With Thailand
Are you looking for some picturesque spots to experience and/or take photos throughout your trip to Thailand. Here is my first dump of ten of my favourite photos I took in Thailand April 2025 and their locations. All pictures are my own, taken on an iphone 12.
Sunset in Koh Lanta

During my two night stay in Koh Lanta, I was lucky enough to witness two beautiful and vibrant sunsets. The one taken here was absolutely incredible and the colours lasted for ages, I was honestly lost for words the picture doesn’t even do it justice but still managed to capture part of the beauty.
Elephants While Bamboo Rafting

Through booking a trip on getyourguide while in Chiang Mai, we went bamboo rafting and saw the real beauty of nature – downstream we got lucky enough to even see a group of elephants on the shoreside.
Roadside Mountainous View in Krabi

This is one of my favourite photos to look back on and was taken during a casual stroll along one of the main beaches in Krabi Thailand.
Boats, Beach and Mountains

After a short ride in a longtail boat from Krabi, you will arrive at the beautiful serene Railay beach. A perfect place to chill, tan and have a rest day from carrying your backpack and travelling from place to place, there are even a few resorts or places to have lunch or grab a snack whilst you are here. The longtail boats, crystal clear sea and mountainous rocks is photo opportunity you can’t miss!
Maya Bay

Maya Bay is a popular tourist attraction, largely due to its feature in the film “The Beach” starring Leonardo DiCaprio. However because of this the Thai Government had to close the site to allow the ecosystem to recover, Maya Bay is now open to tourists again under strict regulations to ensure the preservation and protection of the beach. Maya Bay is truly a magnificent place to visit with powdery white sand, which was honestly extremely soft to the touch and crystal clear waters.
Peace and Tranquility on Pig Island

A successful theme running through here is a sunny beach! Off the coast of Koh Samui, you can take a boat ride to an island otherwise known as “pig Island”, where pigs roam the beaches freely. It has some beautiful views of the crystal clear water and nearby mountainous islands, with the options to take part in some peaceful kayaking among the shallow waters.
Koh Phi Phi

This photo was taken from my accommodation on the island of Koh Phi Phi, a true picturesque moment of tropical paradise. Waking up and stepping outside to a view like this was pure bliss and a great setup for a good day.
Pool View on Koh Phangnan

A pool view on the island of Koh Pha Ngan, a stunning island known for its monthly Full Moon party on Haad Rin Beach. This picture contains the luscious green nature of Thailand, providing a stunning lookout and the perfect place to wind down and have a relaxing day after backpacking and moving from place to place.
Neon Art

Also taken on Koh Pha Ngan, just before the full moon party, the island hosts a jungle party where you have the chance to pay for some beautiful creative and well designed neon art painted onto your skin. These bright vibrant colours are eye catching in the dark party.
Koa Tao Sunset

Koh Tao Sunsets – an absolute magical moment to end the day. Many people gather across the beaches of Koh Tao to witness the magnificent rich sunsets, a moment you don’t want to miss if you visit this gorgeous island.
